The Story Behind LIPES: A Dream Come True

LIPES is not just another fashion brand — at least for me, it’s something truly dear to my heart. I found myself struggling to find a European-based online store for abayas and hijabs that felt right. I ended up ordering overpriced products with poor quality, some of which weren’t even as hijab-friendly as I had hoped. After spending money on products that left me unsatisfied, I kept thinking: . I ended up ordering overpriced products with bad quality, some of them not even hijab friendly as I had hoped for. As I kept spending money and didn't find myself satisfied, I kept thinking Why isn't here a store that blends modesty with style, comfort and ease, right here in Europe? 

As I kept searching, I realized I wasn’t alone in facing this issue. Speaking with other sisters, it became clear that many were looking for their go-to abaya shop. More importantly, we're looking for a communities that we can relate to, find inspiration in and grow with. That’s when the dream of starting my own modest wear brand began - I wanted to create a space where women could feel confident, stylish, and, most importantly, comfortable in their modesty.

How LIPES Came to Life

LIPES started with that simple idea — to offer modest wear that feels just right. I knew I wanted to create pieces that weren’t just about following trends but were timeless, elegant, and practical for everyday life. This wasn’t about business or trying to fit into an industry; it was about sharing something I truly love with other women who, like me, wanted modest fashion that felt authentic and accessible.

Why It Matters

LIPES is all about celebrating who you are, no matter where you are in your modest fashion journey. I wanted to make sure that women in Europe had access to beautiful, high-quality modest wear without having to look too far. It’s not just about the clothes — it’s about feeling good in what you wear and knowing that your style reflects your values.
